The dude from the video said we all are gonna be able to watch the first episode of season 2 that will be shown Sunday on an anime event/convention in Japan.
Thing is, they want to get most of the animation done before they officially release the season, and they want to keep the same quality of the 1st season, so he's saying they are aiming for January 2020 for the official date.
OPM is the only anime I've been able to fight the urges and not read the manga, but I don't think I'll be able to wait another 15 months
