Today is the 12th anniversary and I'm sitting here in Houston waiting on another major hurricane.
I saw an article earlier on Nola.com i believe saying that Harvey is gonna rile up peoples Katrina ptsd.
i couldnt even read it.

My mom was living in Biloxi and just separated from the military and we were moving back up home wit my dad.
We left a month before it hit, it didn't even hurt the house we had down there, so when we put the claim in the money went right to my parents account and they went down and saw no real damage, just had to replace the siding, so my parents got a nice little come up off that.
On the other side my friend from high school went missing and is presumed dead, no one ever found his body.

i live 2hrs away from NO an the thing i remember most was the wind it literally sounded like a pack of wolves out side my window 
my house was fine my sisters not so much thank god she went to ATL with her husband to stay with his family
i also remember getting live on the CAC at game stop because they lost my 360 preorder cuz the store got fukked up had him sweating buckets in the store
he called another game stop a town over trying to get help they was like
