That POS benoit deserves a lot more blame for ruining pro wrestling but the neckbeards cry he should be in the hall
He didn't ruin wrestling but I did stop watching faithfully after his tribute show then we found out he murdered his family. He was my favorite wrestler and I still enjoy his matches but he should never go into any hall of fame.

It was genius how they led up to it. Vince saying he was the genetic jackhammer, how he and Linda was gonna make another baby, then the feud with Trump, head gets shaved, he starts wearing durags n wins the ECW title n says he's extreme, feuds with Cena saying HE's the doctor of thug-a-nomics, loses the ECW title, starts sitting in a rocking chair looking depressed at the wrestlers entrance, then his limo explosion.

:wow:

The last great example of long term booking in wwe :wow:

I remember being a little mark and thinking Vince had actually died. Looked at the tv like :damn::mjcry:

He even had Shane and Stephanie at a press conference next day with tears in their eyes( Dat commitment to kayfabe :wow:)

Couldn't believe when I turned on raw next week the first person I saw was Vince in the ring :francis:

Before the live episode of Raw, on the Saturday and Sunday the actual explosion was filmed. WWE hired a Hollywood pyro team – Zenith Pyrotechnology – and had to acquire several permits to legally pull off the stunt. As Vince left the arena they cut the live feed and went to the pre taped explosion, giving the impression that it was live. Before the crowd left the arena they placed the burnt out husk of the limo in position to add to the effect.

There is a small continuity error when Vince leaves the arena, as the ground near the limo is dry. When he goes to enter the limo (the pre-raped footage) the ground has a puddle of water.

I remember watching this man I was 10 or 11 at the time and everyone in my class thought it was real.

At playtime in school we where all looking through the picture for clues about who might have done it, we where convinced it was one of the McMahon kids trying to take vince's spot. :wow:

I miss thinking this shyt was real. :mjcry:

I miss being a mark instead of a smark, I remember when my dad first told me about 50/50 booking, I was like :snoop:

I was a huge Cena fan from 04-07 but from 08-12 I couldn't stand Cena :mjlol:

Even as a mark though, I still cheered heels, even when Kurt was an a$$hole heel, I was still a huge fan :pachaha:

I was 18 at the time I remember laughing my ass off I knew this was the easiest way to get Vince off tv so we didn't have to keep doing that weekly million dollar giveaway. Mater of fact was that even real?

Next week there he was in an empty arena. I didnt r ally care about them dropping the storyline with no explanation. shyt had hit the fan. It's interesting to hear from the younger people on this thread how they viewed it. Guess it was their ( santa isn't real moment ) even as a kid subconsciously I always knew wrestling was part acting so I never had that moment. I always wondered why the wrestlers never handled there problems off air. Had to wait a whole week to fight someone who beat the shyt out of u :russ:

At the end of the day cokeboy still got out of that million dollar a week giveaway:pachaha:
