Jets probably have a verbal with Fitz that was dependent on this getting done. He'll probably sign a couple days or the eve before camp. Then all systems a go.
fitz hasn't returned brandon Marshalls texts in weeks and put his home in new jersey up for rent 
That's the biggest indicator that he's not coming back. Durant did the same thing in OKC a few months back, sold all his properties(some at a loss)
rented didnt own. who knows....still a lot of time before camp starts anyways.

Fitz will be back of Geno doesn't show enough in training camp and preseason until then he won't be signed
8 days isn't a lot of time.
from the standpoint of NFL contract negotiation it is....these things always go to the final hour. If he's not here by day one of camp then yeah just forget it.
Fitz isn't coming back. Accept it and move on.
I dont know if he is or not. Guys dont report for another two weeks.
I see you're in the denial stage
Don't worry you can still be a fan of fitz while he's a back up qb in the CFL
