Marshall had the best season of his career last year from an efficiency standpoint...so catch radius or not, it wasnt just him.

It was Gailey and Marshall, so you're right it wasn't "just" Marshall. In fact data says that Decker actually produced at a more efficient rate per dropback with Geno than Fitzpatrick. As such the assertion Marshall performed because of Fitzpatrick is a little spurious.

How can anyone look at those acrobatic TD Marshall had to frequently make last season and say Fitz is owed equal share?

Because the overall body of work put Fitzpatrick at about average or slightly above. We went from terrible QB play to average- hence the improvement in the offense. Also way less fumbles, hardly any sacks and no pick 6's. Fitzpatrick doesnt get graded worse because Marshall made some nice catches lol.

We went from terrible offensive personnel and coaching to quality players and coaching. If Fitz were the scan the field type of qb id be much more secure. But all season his play was one read or run at qb.

You can be happy with that, I certainly aren't. That shyt has one year Tommy Maddox success written all over it.

He stay :cape:for Fitz.:heh:

Merely defending the season he had, which was slightly above average in context to the rest of the QB's in the league. Which was a gigantic step up from the two terrible QB's we had before him that couldnt play.

That being said I fully recognize Fitzpatrick not being the longterm solution here and I'd fully get on board with maneuvering to get Goff, who I think is the best QB in the draft.

I'm also not in favor of trading away picks for veterans, so Im not thrilled with the CLady move all that much. Especially considering his injury history.

So he's another Bryce petty ? A project because Goff didn't play in no pro style offense either and will have to transition to how nfl operates. Pass
