I actually like where the jets are heading

I don't. Not only were they one of the oldest teams in the NFL last year, they were old at key positions(#1 CB, #2 CB, #1 WR, LT, C). I would be stunned if Fitz/Marshall/Decker all had similar years to what they had in 2015.

Looking back on last season really depresses me, they should have won 12 games and competed for the division/HFA. Obviously FA and the draft hasn't occurred yet but a 6 win year two for Bowles wouldn't shock me at all.

Not sure if Fitz has enough magic to take Jets to next level.

Definitely need to keep Marshall and Decker.

Jets played New England very tough the last couple years from what I remember. Even last season with Rex...games were down to the wire.

But can the Jets plan against the Bills? They have good talent and an aight team but you can't get swept by them and expect to make playoffs unless u can swept the fins or pats.

Historically Rex coached teams have fared well vs Fitz(I think he's 8-2 or 9-1). Not surprising, Fitz is very limited physically and Rex knows how to take advantage of that

Brian Costello of the New York Post sees free agent TE Ladarius Green as a good fit for the Jets.
New York doesn't have much cap space available after last offseason's spending spree, but Green shouldn't carry a huge price tag. Consistency has eluded Green to this point in his career but he had his moments last year when Antonio Gates was suspended for PEDs. He'd be a big upgrade for the Jets, who combined for just eight tight ends catches in 2015.

Brian Costello of the New York Post could see the Jets pursuing free agent OLB Nick Perry.
The Jets are in the process of remaking their linebacker corps and are looking for a veteran to pair with 2015 third-round pick Lorenzo Mauldin. Perry should land within the team's price range, which is important given the Jets' shortage of cap space. Perry defended the run well last year and finished with a bang by providing 3.5 sacks in Green Bay's two playoff games.

I personally was hoping for Melvin Ingram. I remember hearing all these reports about how the Jets were smitten with him.

That was my first introduction to smokescreensee during draft season :snoop:
