Also, here's an interesting tidbit...

The Jets yesterday were very much in on Olivier Vernon. In fact, that were willing to go up to 15 mil (annually). After that, they backed off.

That leads many to believe that we may have already found a trading partner for Wilkerson :jbhmm:

What would be the price tag for Mo?

Problem is, the team trading for him has to fork over a huge contract(around Malik Jackson's) plus give the Jets compensation. Not too sure a lot of teams out there are looking to do that

I think hes worth the money honestly, and I would typically stay away from those mega deals, but hes absolutely worth it right now. Maybe not for the Jets, who have Sheldon & Leonard - but as a Bears fan, who desperately need game changing talent on defense, the contract wouldnt scare me off

What kind of compensation are we talking though?

All onboard with Forte...

That's a great singing especially if were keeping dumpoff Fitz...Fortes bread and butter always been his ability to make things happen catching the football...Looking at what Bilal did in that roll this is a no brainer great signing...

I watched plenty of Bears games last season because I owned Forte in FF...He's got plenty left in that tank and the MCL was no concern...He missed the games he did because he didnt want to risk coming back too soon due to pending free agency...

Only reason his numbers dipped is because of that trolling jackass Fox who decided to have Forte split carries with Langford down the stretch...

He missed the games he missed because he was injured, not because he was shook to come back. You're wrong in those regards

and why wouldnt the Bears be developing a RB we just drafted(and knowing it was Forte's last year) ? and why would you want Fox to over use Forte when he was just coming back from an injury? :dwillhuh:

I agree that he still has a couple solid years left in the tank, but obviously he'll never be the player he once was

WTF are you yalking about? It was a mild sprain...If he wasn't a FA he would have missed 2 games at the most as originally predicted when he suffered the injury...

He missed 4 games because it didnt make any sense to rush back...FA and the fact the team was ass both played a significant roll in that decision...Plenty of Chicago reporters said that, i know because i was following the rotoblurbs every week...

As far as splitting carries, Fox did that while the team was still in contention and Forte was healthy...Of course I am more upset about this because this situation fukked over my fantasy team but Fox always been a dumbass troll...I still remember in that SD game where he started the third string RB Carey over Langford because everyone knew Langford was obviously going to be the RB with Forte sidelined...
