actually that is the issue. if you havent travelled. then you really have nothing to respond to the article with. because... YOU... DONT..> KNOW.whether I've traveled or not is not the issue. the article is arrogant and just assuming the reader is stupid.

your best bet is to shut up and take in the info. wait til you make moves to different parts of the world. then speak on it.
To say that the rest of the world doesn't care about American culture is laughable.
Thats my demonic country
In dating, when I find a woman attractive, I almost always walk right up to her and tell her that a) I wanted to meet her, and b) she’s beautiful. In America, women usually get incredibly nervous and confused when I do this. They’ll make jokes to defuse the situation or sometimes ask me if I’m part of a TV show or something playing a prank. Even when they’re interested and go on dates with me, they get a bit disoriented when I’m so blunt with my interest. Whereas, in almost every other culture approaching women this way is met with a confident smile and a “Thank you.”
In my Guide to Wealth, I defined being wealthy as, “Having the freedom to maximize one’s life experiences.” In those terms, despite the average American having more material wealth than citizens of most other countries (more cars, bigger houses, nicer televisions), their overall quality of life suffers in my opinion. American people on average work more hours with less vacation, spend more time commuting every day, and are saddled with over $10,000 of debt. That’s a lot of time spent working and buying crap and little time or disposable income for relationships, activities or new experiences.
I actually agree with a few things from the article.
#3 We Know Nothing About The Rest Of The World: self explanatory
4. We Are Poor At Expressing Gratitude And Affection: Very true
5. The Quality of Life: Very true
6. The Rest Of The World Is Not A Slum-Ridden shythole Compared To Us: I think I've stated this before, the average "middle class" family in China has about 50k, at home in savings. Compare that to the American, middle class, who have . Not to mention, the "American Middle Class, makes significantly more. Don't get it twisted in either, throughout the world there are a lot of nice places, especially in Africa . The trend tends to be, rich people, on the cost and poor people on the inlands.
Unless a society is ruled by communism, they will probably be always be distinguished social classes(rich, middle class, poor).
Oh yeah and our health care sucks . We have dumb ass citizens who are actually against universal healthcare which would probably benefit, 99% of the Americans.
feel free to watch this for more info:

7. Were Paranoid: self-explanatory, fox news / cnn / rush Limbaugh
8. Were Status-Obsessed And Seek Attention: Twitter / Facebook
9. We Are Very Unhealthy: We're an obese nation, We pride ourself on horrible food. Food is available 24/7. (self-explanatory) not everyone here looks like me.....
Overall I can't take your opinion seriously, if you've never traveled outside of the U.S. or western developed countries.
