What most Americans don't know:

Socialism-hybrid countries work and work well.

Socialist is like uttering the name of the devil here.

so what do you think africa looks like? baby's with fly's on there face? lions and tigers?

Yeah essentially. Lions, tigers, ligers. All that shyt.

And that, from afar, many of their cities can be strategically photographed in a favorable light which omits the many ills that befall these cities in order to be submitted on a website entitled The Richest People which is not at all out of touch and not at all blatantly glossing over the epic shytness that is Africa.

Africa is beautiful in places breh. I've actually been to 3 countries there and it was beautiful.

Granted, I didn't go to the bad parts.

But it's like saying Hawaii isn't beautiful because of Detroit or Little Rock, Arkansas.

Subs. Africa is a beautiful place my nephew spent last Summer over there helping to build schools. He went as part of a school club.

opinion piece trying to parade as fact.

Maybe but do you mind sharing with us some of your travels of the world? I'm curious to hear your story and of some of your travels.

I thought the article was a pretty decent piece. The author was obviously formulating his arguments based off his experiences but he did include some facts that are true of America.

I've travelled to numerous countries myself and I agree with a lot of the points he made. I don't think it's possible for you to gain this type of insight (or just his opinion) without traveling to a number of continents and countries throughout the world. You can't travel to see your cousins in Canada or stay on a resort in Mexico and expect to truly understand where the author is coming from.

exactly, this shyt is about as specific as Romney's 5 Point Plan

"Few People Are Impressed By Us" :rudy:

stupid crap assumes we're trying to impress someone

That's not what the article was about though but okay.

Why do you seem offended?

whether I've traveled or not is not the issue. the article is arrogant and just assuming the reader is stupid.

not only that the world eats our food, watches our tv and movies, listens to our music, buys our products, wears our clothes and follows our elections. So even if they don't "care" about us, we invade their culture a lot more then the article lets on. Just look at this site. How many foreigners are on here? an american hip-hop/sports site.

I really dont agree with #4 . I think Americans actually overdo that, especially in foreign countries.

#2 is definitely false (to an extent). If you've traveled to multiple places overseas, you'd know this. They just want them dollars from Americans. But lots of places hate white americans for some reason, yet they want to be them looks wise.
