I don't see Tupac as inspirational rapper . .in the sense that other artists aren't bold enough to follow his lead - Tupac's music is Tupac's music and you'd have to be stupid to think you can follow his path and make something with HIS brand of music . . it transcends hip-hop, it's MUSIC. Songwriting greatness worthy of Library of Congress because it's a definitive representation of a time and place in America combined with a cultural significance

Jay Z and Kanye together represent the inverse of pushing the envelope (Kanye) vs. being in pocket (Jay Z)

I have heard countless rappers from across the board recite Biggies lines and schemes, but cant think of anyone significant biting Pac. Now counter with obvious examples to help us out. I was Biggie fan from day one, never liked Pac at all. But as I got older I was able to understand the deeper content and message of 2pacs music.

Biggie is the greatest MC of all time. Simply a master of the art

2pac is the greatest Rapper of all time. His catalog, work ethic, how he conveyed his emotions into his music speak for itself.
