it's still a lot of blacks doing well in mo city. their kids just like to pretend that they're from the hood.

you got kids at hightower whos parents are doctors/lawyers/engineers and they're claiming gangs :wtf:

:russ: One of my dad's friends is a VP at a local bank and has been living in 3rd ward all his life. Hightower nikkas be just flex, but they got a few grimey nikkas....but when it comes to real hood nikkas in Mo City, they go to Willowridge or Marshall.

I went to middle school in Mo City. In fact, I went to middle school with Warren Moon's son who was a year older than me. Mo City depends on what side you live on. There is the hood side than there is the affluent side. Black people are the largest group but they are not a majority. I have an uncle on my mom's side and an aunt on my dad's side both got half million dollar cribs in Sienna Plantation. They both make a lot of money and add to the black income, but more white and Asian people are moving to Mo City so black people will be the largest but never the majority. So it will never make the list. After all, the cities like Ladera Heights and Baldwin Hills carve out the hood areas around them making them look more affluent, Mo City can do that too but won't. But there is a higher level of bougieness among black people outside of Texas though :mjpls:

I have family that live in Mo City. I used to go down there during the summer back in day. Would see Oilers players in the grocery store and at the park playing basketball. :ohhh:

lol, I swear I would of never guessed that Mo City actually had a good part. Ro made that shyt sound tough as hell.

The part that borders Houston is rough, East Mo City which is closer to Beltway 8 and highway 288 which turns straight hood. Its close to a lot of Southwest and Southside Houston hoods. Put it like this, it's like Inglewood being an extension of South LA.

That makes sense, so I guess its safe to assume that Ro was in the southside section of the Mo.

PG county is funny for this. Mitchellville was created because Bowie residents didnt want to be associated with black people.

Woodmore is the same way. PG County has a lot of communities like that. Zipcode means everything to them.
Bowie was an OG white flight town too :heh:stars n bars PGCacs lawst

So the thought is that people will go to Ben's just for the food? Not for the historic "charm"? Ok. Yeah.

Part of Mo City is considered to be a south side Houston hood because it borders Houston. So they can claim south side Htown and/or Mo City if they want. There are a bunch of hoods in Houston so a nikka that reps the south side or north side, is reppin his side of the city. Then they also rep their hood. So a northside nikka can rep his side of town, then rep gunspoint if he is from there. Its like reppin South LA and reppin the 30s at the same time. You can't say an LA nikka is wrong if he does that, same with Houston.
