It comes down to a few things....

1. Absolutely street harassment exists, and women are right to speak up about it.
2. I don't like that this woman walked around minority neighborhoods to showcase street harassment. As if this never happens in Williamsburg or Astoria. I'm not saying it was some deliberate racist attempt but it sure raised questions. I can respect this...it definitely does happen in Williamsburg and Astoria and many other places. In your opinion, do you believe that it happens more in Harlem or Williamsburg? Just asking...I don't know the answer to this...maybe that's why she chose Harlem over the others...I don't know.
3. This woman walked around NYC for 10 hours and basically ran into 2 creeps. Two out of who knows how many thousands of New Yorkers that day? I hardly think if I ran into 2 a$$holes out of 7 million people, that it would qualify is a pandemic or something. 2 creeps in 10 hours is a LOT...seriously. Maybe it's common in NYC, but that's pretty shocking to me.
4. The point about women wanting to set the parameters for everything stands. I get that we men have to jump through hoops on a lot of that shyt, but at some point it gets ridiculous. Men also get harassed. I don't think this is limited to just women. I've seen a man walk by and a female grab his ass before. But, if a female says something makes her uncomfortable, she has that right...and if a man says it, he has that right also...and neither member of the opposite sex has the right to tell them why they should / shouldn't feel this way.

And I realize my language in some of these posts is a bit aggressive and trolling, but there's just one big blurry ass line as to what is considered "harassment" when it comes to dealing with women sometimes.

Well that goes to my comment about there being blurred lines as to what women will accept from men.

If Taye Diggs is outside Starbucks and says "Hey beautiful" to you as you approach the corner, you're probably not gonna be as creeped out. But maybe you would be. A lot of women have said they would.

I'm not out here trying to tell women how to feel.
My argument is that there's levels to this shyt. We all find certain things to be annoying. But they all do not require legislation and policing...which is what the video (I feel) is sort of alluding to.
Since street harassment reform has been in the news recently.
