I've handed nikkas opportunity on a silver plater... even hispanics like you. without going into detail...
some young people truly are fearful of success.
And him praying or even bring up religion in this shyt is just dumb. Obviously God is letting nikkas starve out here... I don't give him an excuse for being young... Fred Hampton was young.. over 90% of the people making moves in the 60's were under 25. He is foolish. when i was going to school w holes in my shirt God didn't really gaf. Now when I blow money like a @
sshole ... God doesn't really gaf.
and this dude is making 20K before taxes talking about he's praying
He needs to be studying.
Ok so let's step back from religion for a moment cause that seams to have you all gassed up.
It's not that kids are afraid of success; some shyt happens in life that negatively adjust that shyt.
Watch.
If you have kids ask them what they want to be when they grow up, no kid under 12 is gonna say, "oh I want to get strung out on drugs, get a girl prego and you know work at McDonalds or walmart". Most still have the dream of being a doctor, lawyer, police man...basically they're not tainted.
Ask that same question to a highschool Jr and you start to see the reality of the world fuking that mindset. SOME still have that dream, some have even gone so far as to put pen to paper and directed effort in the right way to make those dreams a reality. The sad fact though is that for FAR TO MANY kids the lessons they need to learn come 10-12 years later, after prison, after kids, after all types of BS.
You, Me, most dudes on this forum or cut from a cloth that saw that BS. I'm with you, I went to school for most of my grade school with a 5 shirt rotation with a friend of mine who shared those 5 shirts. I'm an accountant he's finishing up his masters in economics.
Here's what get's me though. I look at the dudes I used to run with and a lot of them aren't fairing so well, OR had a bunch of lessons they had to learn the hard way. Why?
The knee jerk reaction is, "they're stupid", "they're lazy", "no hustle"...knowing these dudes that's just not the case. I still work with both grade school kids and highschool kids and from what I can lack of meaningful direction from home and community tends to fuk these KIDS before they start.
For some odd reason our society is set up so that the 8 most pivotal years of our lives significantly influence the remaining direction our life will take; plot twist those 8 years are also the same 8 years of puberty, adolescent angst, hormonal sway, etc, etc. Consider you wouldn't let a 15 year old run a business but you're asking them to make decision that will FOREVER effect their lives?
and then we wonder why more kids don't do the right thing?
The shyt kids, particularly from an inner city, have stacked up against them is staggering, there's a reason so few make it out.
I had the experience of going to a very affluent highschool, when those kids fuked up, got strung out, got prego, and otherwise conducted themselves in a manner that would have resulted in a life of misery for someone in poverty it was just a slight speed bump. 100% of my graduating class graduated from college and are experiencing the good life.
Consider there were 8 kids in rehab before senior year and 1 prego in a class of 60.
The problem goes beyond him makeing bad choices is all i'm saying.
