Point was, why they pretending they neva seen horse hair gloves before? I saw some Reyes joints that looked wrinkled like that. Most horse hair gloves look like that.

Then the dummy decided to use a glove that he knew didn't protect his hands and ended up breaking his hand again. Why not just negotiate that Fury wear gloves with more padding?

This is exactly what happened with Floyd vs maidana, Floyd didn’t like the padding of the mx gloves so he had to pay maidana for him to switch to another glove or Floyd was willing to pull out of the fight if maidana didn’t switch to another glove.

Wilder wa not gonna pull out of the fight nor pay fury so he thought by getting even chose a punchers glove even though he broke his hands wearing them in the past. Floyd used to wear punchers gloves in the past but started to have hand problems and went instead with the grants I believe.

Wilder really just sabotaged himself.

yea that seems kind of low considering all things involved. I don't think any of the fights did 1mil (I think one did 800k)

at least it did more than paul vs woodley..but 100k or so lol

the closest one to a milly was the first fight

I know Wilder giving that one last fukk you to Fury after that classic from them on Saturday really bothered him, I could tell, Fury kept bringing it up in all his post fight interviews and was tweeting about it up until today :lolbron:. but I’m glad Wilder finally showed some class.

And Finally this chapter is closed but who knows, if things shake out the way I think they are going to in the heavyweight division in 2022, their paths may cross one last time

It shouldn't since wilder is out until next summer. By then fury/whyte or wallin /usyk/joshua round robin will be going on

A few Floors Down from the Daily Grind
People keep throwing around Joyce and Dubois :snoop: Fury wipes the floor with these 2, he will not be fighting either of those I can guarantee you that. He has nothing to gain fighting Joyce and Dubois.

I can see Whyte next, then Usyk assuming he beats AJ.

Then maybe off into the sunset he goes after beating AJ to cement his legacy.

Also, are we just forgetting he beat Klitschko? A better one than AJ faced? He really doesn’t have much left to prove ..
Isn’t he almost 38 too? I’m not sure how many years of fighting at his prime he’s even have left, so fighting younger up and comers on the downside of your career doesn’t exactly scream like the way to cement your legacy.

I was talkin about their paths crossing one last time in 2023.

As you eluded to with round robin, I am anticipating maximum fukkery in the heavy weight division in 2022 with Wilder in the mix.

But I can see Fury as undisputed before 2022 ends. Beating Wallin/Whyte first and then Usyk/AJ for undisputed in the summer or fall. Probably rematch them in early 2023.

And if Wilder can beat who is in front of him let's say Andy Ruiz in the summer and then Usyk/AJ/Whyte/Wallin in late 2022 and in early 2023,

All this could very well lead to Wilder Fury IV in 2023 one last time.
