"Wilder left the ring quickly and was taken to University Medical Center as a precaution but said, “I did my best but it wasn’t good enough tonight. I’m not sure what happened. I know that in training, he did certain thing and I also knew that he didn’t come in at 277 pounds to be a ballet dancer. He came to lean on me, try to rough me up and he succeeded.”

Fury was ahead on all three scorecards — 95-91, 95-92, 94-92 — at the time of the stoppage.

nah wilder, he came to knock u out and he did.

:snoop: Misses the hook and what does he do instead of stepping out and resetting with the jab. Shuffles to the right and LOOKS at Fury, with hands DOWN.

Wilder doesn’t think 2-3 steps ahead. All he knows is now.

Yeah Fury was expecting that, going back to the body with the left or even a feint with the left hook followed by the actual left hook could have set Fury up to get caught flush, its possible Wilder could have got countered before the follow up but he had the advantage imo after throwing that body shot. I get breh was fatigue though and hadn't really thrown any 'combos' to the body to begin with.

let's be real...boxing ain't getting the best black athletes. this is the result:yeshrug:

Lol this is a ridiculous take. Aside from Roy Jones Jr, Wilder is literally the greatest athlete the boxing world has ever seen. How else do think a dude who started boxing in his 20s with limited skills could ever become a champion? Because he’s as superior an athlete as you can be in the boxing world.

Neither of these men hve anything to prove now. Leave the division to people who still have things to prove … like Usyk and Joshua

I don’t even see Fury truly being motivated by those fights

Wilder is 35 years old and is clearly the second most formidable opponent in division. Joshua doesn’t have the heart to beat him, and Wilder has too much heart to lose to Joshua. Both of those men risked it all out there last night. Legacies cemented. If this was another era Wilder would be #1. If Wilder could box more and came in with a gameplan to utilize his reach to keep Fury at distance with pot shots to the belly he could’ve won. But there’s nothing left for either man to prove. Move out of the way and let the Big Baby’s of the world come up

Nahh probably too uncoordinated to play basketball. Success is due to him being closest thing anatomically to a catapult

Knocking down your opponent TWICE is not competitive? Getting back up from getting BRUTALLY knocked down TWICE doesn’t make for a good fight?

Like the chick who was reporting, you are too far in the extreme. I guess you’re saying it wasn’t even a “good” fight? While she said something like it was one of the best heavyweight fights ever. Both of you are too far in the extreme. It was a good fight. Yes Fury dominated but he was dropped twice. Yeah he was beating Wilder most of the fight but dude showed mad heart.

I didn’t say it was the greatest fight ever dude. It was a good fight. Relax.
Don’t mind that Mexican. He hates on all black fighters

I'm not torn up about this at all. Wilder showed A TON of heart in their and for that I give him so much respect and admiration despite the KO loss. He really wanted it badly. Fury is the man.

Their is a great movie to be made about Wilder. Most boxing greats are child prodigies. He started boxing age 20-21. Medaled in the Olympics and has made a heck of a boxing career out of this. Can't wait to see it.

:hhh:

Son are you serious?!?!? It wasn't that bad!?!?! He was out on his feet practically the whole match! He had BLOOD coming out his ear AGAIN...did you miss all the clean shots he was eating!?

:gucci:

Fury was taking that right hand better as the fight progressed in the later rounds and walking through it. Wilder went str8 to the hospital. If you think Wilder "didn't get beat that bad", then you're just as guilty as his corner. :unimpressed:
He had a chance to win the fight until he was knocked out. He will be fine physically:russell: but if his corner had thrown in that towel, when he still could have won, he would have never recovered mentally:manny:

Wilders doing is all on him.

He gained all that wieght the second fight and didn’t have his legs, blames it on costume and being drugged up but actually it’s all the weight he gained.

This fight he decides to wear MX gloves and in the process possibly breaking his hand or knuckle.

Usyk boxes up Wilder worse than fury did:yeshrug:.....much faster on his feet and better handspeed. And he's got enough pop to hurt Wilder. Usyk might be the worst matchup in the division for Wilder.

absolutely this. Usyk stops Wilder. Wilder dont even know how to circle the ring or cut off the ring.

Joyce vs Wilder would be intriguing
