By cherry picking though. He was perfectly fine with not unifying and picking opponents who he felt have him the least threat.
Even with Fury we don't know how he fairs against other top 10 heavyweights.

Yep, again I agree, but that's the era in which we find ourselves. For the majority of a career, matches are carefully made, records are carefully protected. Sadly, it is what is is now.

This is the one thing that is damn near a must. I cannot let what wilder did to Breland slide. It was foul on every level.

I hope over the next few weeks something more is made of this. Breland saw the beat down coming and in boxing, heck, in life what is the worth of risking an extra few rounds of a beat down? For people to say “you have a big heart”?

SMH it was so foolish and was part of my drive to see Wilder lose fair and squarely.

It seems like mainstream hip hop don't fukk with Wilder. First Drake and now I see lil Wayne supporting Fury. What's going on here?

You're dumb as shyt..

according to the RBC research, the average retirement age for MLB players is 29.5, followed by 28.2 for players in the NHL, 28 for NBA players, and 27.6 for NFL players.

Lennox Lewis retired at 37
Joe Calzaghe retired at 35
Andre Ward retired at 33

Some people don't wait til they can't do it anymore.. Hopkins got knocked out of the ring..
You're slow as hell..those are extreme cases.

he is beatable breh...but wilder was not the one to do it..even though he had extra factors to help him out for the first 2 fights :smh:

the only reason why fury vs wilder took place was because wilder didn't want to face whyte who was his mando and "cherry picked" a fury who was not in ideal condition
Who beats him? Don't say Joshua, because he'd be outclassed. Don't say usyk, because he sustained not big enough, though he has the skills. The only person who beats Fury is Fury. If he ever loses in the ring I'd be willing to bet he'd win the rematch. He's an all time great.

For real, I get why people have put so much into Wilder, black man, outspoken for our causes and shyt like that. I can rock with that. What I can't rock with is his lack of skill. Why did y'all attach y'all wagon to a boxer that can't box? Fandom shouldn't blind you from what your eyes should be telling you honestly. He was never going to just KO everyone he faces like a video game character. Water should have found its level first against Ortiz. Clearly getting out boxed but then he caught Luis. Good on him but he's been down on the cards for all of his fights for the past fiveish or so years when the fight ended, win or loss, that first fight wasn't a damn draw, Fury won that one too. Being as one dimensional as he is took him way further than he had any right to be. He was always ripe for this type of punishment because he never truly learned how to box. So what now, keep being the #2 because we know that you cant beat the #1. fukk that, just retire. He took two monumental beat downs from the #1. If you want to just cash checks, sure, continue to fight. He cannot improve his legacy anymore, he's plateaued. All it can do is become less attractive going forward.
Damn... I agree with what you said, I would never tell a fighter to stop fighting, especially seeing as how they do it for a living and there will always be money in boxing. But, if I am Wilder, do I really want to be #2 in the world? Like I can knock out #3, #4, #5, etc. But, I just can't stop #1? I don't know if I would comfortable knowing that.

I'm not saying Wilder can't bounce back, I mean it's only 2 losses and 1 draw. But, if he decides to still Box, what's going to change? Granted the money is there, but do he feel like possibly getting knocked out every bout just for a check? Because Wilder is a simple fighter, people have him figured out already, "whatever you do, don't get caught by that right hand".

Respectfully, Wilder isn't technical or defensive, he is one dimensional. I relate that he is a Black American man with roots that go to Chattel Slavery and he is vocal for our people and cause, but you gotta know how to BOX, too.

Wilder is a nobody and everybody can beat him..according to almost every follow up post but Fury is all time great suddenly for beating Wilder twice. That Hitler mindset..lol. They just can't help themselves in the end...

People have him figured out yet never beat him. This fantasy shyt is comical.

Like Canelo should be the best but he isn't because he's ducking 3 guys..with his chest out. "Saying you want pay day "in broken English don't change the fact you fought Rocky Felding with glee but is scared to death of Andrade.
