How was LSC past his prime? The man is the same age as Lomachenko?
he wasnt past his prime...however the shyt i complained about him...it caught up to him...too many soft fights for inflated purses...stunted his growth in his prime..he is not going to get that back at 32

LSC could have been really good at 126 if he took the big fights in his prime outside of Frampton, stepping up to fight tank was clearly a cash grab with a small chance of winning ( overwhelming tank ha). Anyone who watches boxing knew leos growth from lack of challenges would catch up with him down the line. He looked awful against Flores, I'm not sure why anyone would have had him winning here. I'd argue Gamboa was a tougher more threatening opponent for tank. Leo had some success when he forced tank to fight on his Backfoot but fell too in love with the Mexican style of boxing. shyt really is a Achilles heel for them.

Edit: and its nuts that leo was already gassed by round 5 fukk kind of training camp did he have :dahell:.

Edit 2: forgot his father had issues makes sense

Tank is starting to make a case for being on the P4P list though. He fits all the criteria to be on it.
I need to see him fight a decent long guy with a good jab first. I want to see how he deals with that. I also want to see how he deals with someone who won't fall for dumb traps just slugging it out with him. I know it won't happen, but I would love to see him fight Loma next - it's the perfect time.

Whats next for Tank Davis?
Teofimo Lopez believes himself to be the undisputed lightweight champion, which he isn’t, but it’s a fun thing he believes, and surely could market that if a Lopez-Davis fight were to get made. I mean, they did it for Loma-Lopez, why not? Nobody really cares.
Anyway, Lopez (16-0, 12 KO) is definitely the biggest potential option, as it would be a terrific matchup and a great fight to make. But there are problems, and we’re going to repeat this here.
Davis is with PBC and more specifically the Mayweather Promotions wing of PBC. Floyd Mayweather and Top Rank promoter Bob Arum are not exactly great friends, and as much as that, it’s a question of whether or not Lopez-Davis would be big enough for Showtime or FOX, with PBC, and ESPN, with Top Rank, to come together for a pay-per-view co-production. Not impossible, but it’s a lot to hurdle on the business side, which sucks, because this is a great fight right now.
WBC lightweight titlist Haney (24-0, 15 KO) is in action this coming Saturday (Nov. 7, DAZN, 8 pm ET), facing faded former featherweight titlist Yuriorkis Gamboa, the same Gamboa who lost to Davis at lightweight last December. Haney is expected to win convincingly, and timing-wise, you don’t get much better than having guys fight a week apart to set up a next fight.
Again, it would be a promotional roadblock, or at least could be. Haney is with Matchroom and DAZN, and DAZN see the 21-year-old as one of the guys to build the boxing brand around. Haney, in fact, brags about being the highest-paid lightweight titlist in the game right now. And he should, since he’s getting great money to fight on the streaming service.
But Davis is going to want to fight on pay-per-view from here on out, and DAZN don’t do PPV. That would mean Haney would have to go over, which might be doable, but “doable” and “would happen” are very different things. This one might be even more unlikely than Lopez, as Davis is also a big, big step up on paper compared to Haney’s opposition thus far, whereas Lopez is coming off of a fight with Vasiliy Lomachenko and has all the real confidence in the world.

Hey, it’s a possible 135-pound fight, and Garcia’s a name. Like Haney, Garcia (20-0, 17 KO) is someone DAZN see as a potential superstar for their service. In both cases, it’s easy to see why. They’re talented, young, American fighters, and Garcia in particular has sort of redefined how boxers can promote themselves, even beyond what promotional companies can do.[
You have the same PBC/DAZN issue as with Haney. Again, great fight if you can make it.

the fighters who ive considered risk averse from the PBC for years now..the ones that benefitted from favorable matchmaking with inflated purses...that generation is slowly starting to fall..LSC is just the latest casualty..although to be fair he did make a fight out of it and the scores were dumb close before he got dropped

danny garcia could be next

inflated purses huh :mjpls:

how much should these men get paid to risk their lives for our pleasure friend?
