Hmm.
PPV delivered in most of the ways I thought it wouldn't and failed in a few places that I thought were fukking gimmes. The booking was SHOCKINGLY bad.
Reigns/RuRu - Rusev has more fans AND more heat than Roman. Decent hardcore match, but virtually no Cell spots.. I don't get why they bothered with three Cell matches in one night. Give these two a parking lot brawl or something. Rusev is a great fukking worker, man and deserves better booking than this. Saw the spear finish coming a mile off. They should've had Roman pass out to the Accolade w/ chain.
Bayley/Dana - meh. Didn't see much of it because I was cooking, but it sounded like a pretty by-numbers Bayley win. We need something properly nasty from Dana if this feud is gonna go anywhere.
Enzo/Cass Vs Gallows/Anderson - skipped it. Gallows and Anderson needed a W.
KO/Seth - MOTN probably. Good story and a couple of brilliant spots, even if KO had to do a full sit-up before he could be powerbombed through those tables. Jericho is pure entertainment at the moment. I wasn't really ever a fan until this run with KO.
TJ/Kendrick - SLOW AS fukk.
This is cruiserweight action? Gimme flippy shyt! Best booked ending of the night though. Kendrick had some real heat leaving the ring.
Sasha/CharGOAT. Forget all the smarky comparisons and references... this was incredibly entertaining right up until the last 10 seconds. My girl had to leave the room when they started bringing the chairs out "fukk off, this is brutal"... if anything they probably could've added a blood capsule or two, but the only thing that really went wrong was the final table spot. The anticlimax of the failed table-break and then the Charlotte win just nuked the crowd and the whole thing felt like a bit of a waste. Real shame because up to then they'd done a superb job and probably would've edged MOTN.
Oh, and Charlotte really is all that. The
only true heel in the company.
