I don't get why y'all want the "right" person to win
That's why y'all can't enjoy WWE anymore. Too many of y'all think of yourselves as Vince Russo. Just root for who u want to win. If they win be happy. If they lose get pissed or whatever. But that wrong or right person winning is for the birds
It's not so much about wrong or right as it is watching them consistently cut off their nose to spite their face. There are winners and losers but this is a predetermined sport. They have the luxury of controlling the story and creating an interesting narrative but they seemingly deliberately so the opposite.
Roman for example winning will do nothing for him orthe feud - Roman passing out from a chain choke, visually is incredibly compelling and makes Roman look like a bad ass for not giving up while Rusev went savage. The image of Roman passing out and getting sympathy from the crowd works significantly better than the eye rolling done with him powering out of it and winning in the end. They could've done right by them both but instead Roman gets an unrealistic win and Rusev nearly killing him meant nothing. Sadistic Rusev is in turn obsolete.
Rather than creating compelling stories where every one walks away with a good story to tell, they create a lop sided environment where the consistent winners get booed by the crowd (the people they internally want to be liked) and the consistent losers either fade out, or become tools for the audience to rebel. They're creating the environment the news sites say they get pissed about.
From a professional standpoint it pisses me off, strictly from my profession. Watching companies do illogical things and then be confused why it doesn't work just pisses me off to begin with.
