I never was a fan of Jericho but I'd prefer him over most of the shyt in WWE right now. Moxley, PAC, Omega, Cody and Scorpio Sky will probably be at the top.Honestly, Jericho might be the lamest he's ever been, and he's had multiple periods where he was just awful and the most boring dude on TV. Dude really out here trying to get heat by calling the crowd millennials and saying he's gonna teach Cody a lesson...in what it's like to be a LOSER. He's like a parody right now. The BUBBLY getting memed completely changed and ruined whatever character he was doing that at least wasn't the same Jericho we've seen a million times. He's basically 2002-2003 Jericho right now but older and fatter.
Do they really need to this deep in the social media era?
Let’s not even be cute with the bu bu bu but most people don’t even have phones or know what YouTube is.
Everyone one of their fans had a smartphone and a tablet/computer. They’ll figure it out.
Plus I’m sure that’s not going to break them..... I don’t think (small sample size) anyone here on the coli not gonna watch nexts weeks event if they don’t promote it

Yes I think they need to set shyt up for the next week's show. That's the most basic thing there is to do for TV wrasslin and ANY kind of weekly show, and every company with TV or even an internet show does it better than AEW. Expecting your fans to follow all your social media bullshyt to know what the fukk is going on or what talent they can expect to see is a structural issue they need to fix now because it works when there's still a newness and excitement for the company, but once it's established it's going to feel like Nitro where everything seems random. It already feels like they're coming up with shyt day of the show to me without thinking about what to do next week (I think last week they actually were changing stuff as the show was airing).
So far the only guys with any angles and feuds are The Elite, with the rest of the roster just having random matches that go nowhere with no stakes or feuds or anything behind them. I think 5 weeks of TV and overall 6 months of shows is enough of a sample size to show they have some real structural issues they need to fix immediately because this shyt's going to fall apart in another few months if they keep booking like this.
This 2019..... almost 2020.
A lot of OLD shyt that may have worked for 100+ years don’t need to necessarily still need to be done on some “same ol shyt” to work or them be successful.
They keeping records now, guys don’t need “angles” to want to win or have a reason to fight each other.
Also, NJPW has exposed or shown to the world you can have great random matches and if anything we in the West need to catch up.
Also, it’s not bullshyt for them to expect “their fans” to follow the social media shyt when “their fans” are the fans that always already BEEN following the social media shyt.
If new fans come on, I’m sure in 2020 that’s not going to be a difficult thing to adopt to, the same new fans in their own right already have several social media accounts and browse that shyt on the hourly.
Again, they want to present their product closer to being as sports based as possible.
The Khans are NFL owners, the Niners tonight don’t need a big angle or storyline to face the Cards. Remaining undefeated is already enough
Id break ur fukkn jaw
idk man the most basic thing to do in weekly wrestling is book stuff for the next week's show as a hook and AEW is doing a very poor job of that and just assuming their audience is going to tune in even if they have nothing planned, which is pretty ballsy for a promotion that has only been on TV for 5 weeks.
Also they just introduced their Chief Brand Officer as a voodoo practioner to control another wrestler and had multiple wrestlers dressed up as cartoon and/or video game characters last night, along with multiple comedy wrestlers on the roster. This shyt ain't NJPW, bruddah.
