Look man, I love Dustin Rhodes and what not but that man does not belong in this tournament. Nor does Eddie Kingston. Or Hobbs. Or the Dark Order guy who isn't even one of the top 4 dudes in that stable. Just not booking dudes in big matches to protect them is lazy booking. Makes the whole tournament look like a sham from the start.

AEW tournaments have never been interesting. It's always obvious what the Finals will be and who will win. They always put dudes in there that have no business being there and are just there to job. This goes back at least to the TNT title tournament where they had Kip Sabian and Colt Cabana in it. The last tournament that was somewhat unpredictable was the original tag title tournament.
