Well, to be fair, no one but the Hardy's have really gotten it right.
Everyone after them have tried to craft totally serious segments out of microbudgets and terribly cheap special effects, not understanding that what makes it work is the combination of Backyarder sensibility, legitimate creativity, and outright campiness that is an inherent quality of Hardy-anything.
This didn't get it right, and neither has any other Final Deletion-esque segment that wasn't conceived by Matt Hardy himself. Maybe he's the only one who really gets it.
