I've got a weird feeling about this Danielson/Mox thing. Iono.

Yep, the show is in Washington. He's due to retire/go for surgery. Mox is going to do the deed.

But why aren't they playing up the jeopardy of his retirement when they talk about the main event?

That was ALL we heard up to All In - if they're giving him a home retirement why aren't they selling it more as Bryan Danielson's last stand rather than focusing on Mox's return and the BCC implications when they could be getting Bryan's family involved again and getting everyone ready for the loss?

Heavy chance they've just forgotten because they're all excited about murder but something in my bones telling me it drags on past this somehow.. :yeshrug:
Well he’s not retiring for good.

You can't really be hying up retirement matches every PPV I think. And even though AEW has been very inconsistent about how they present it on TV, the truth is that after All In Danielson himself admitted he'll just retire as a full time wrestler once he losses the belt.

I also don't think the Mox feud is over after WrestleDream but my guess is that Mox kills Danielson in Tacoma and whenever Dragon comes back in 2025, his first PPV match will be against Mox in a grudge match. By the time that happens they wont have to worry about the World title as someone else will be champion.

It's my belief that Mox kills Danielson (Danielson goes to get his surgery) and Darby beats Mox to win his first world title.

To me.. that's how this has been booked but that obviously doesn't mean it will play out that way.

I think Mox is going to be a transitional champion.

One could certainly argue why not just have Darby beat Bryan but that's another story, I know @Jmare007 said that and I don't disagree with it

As for the card itself, I do think adding Take to the Ospreay/Ricochet mix is a great thing.. there's some matches I have very little or no interest in. They could have did a better job but they booked too many major events too close together, the schedule needs more spacing

Wonder how many of the seats are actually VIP seats. If it’s a few hundred that put them right at 7K now.

Last year the final post they had was for WrestleDream was 6,359 but it was at a different arena. I know on their Patreon they typically post final numbers that they don’t post to Twitter.

Last time WWE went to the Tacoma Dome was in 2019 for Stomping Grounds and drew 6K with only 3.5-4.5K of it being paid attendance, sources vary quite a lot on that paid attendance number.

The past month of AEW TV has gone back to being uninteresting. The only two things going for them Is Swerve/Hurt Syndicate and White-O returning, and both things should start to really heat up after the PPV

No way I'm watching live but I'll check Swerve's return (and Lashley's debut, most likely), Hangman/White and probably the main event to see if Mox needs interference (and from who) to win.

fukked up how Danielson's reign coincided with the company's lowest creative point of the year :francis:

Damn, that's gonna be a good one. Hologram i believe second match was against Mortos. Was a highly rated match so i expect a good one. Interesting to see how this thing plays out with LFI and if they get involved or how they book hologram to deal with them.

I was thinking last night of how the show could best be laid out but now this match got added. Feel like it's a great opener tho at first i thought the triple threat. Not sure how those two matches going back to back would workout. Of course thinking that would get the crowd hype then having the jericho match as a major cool down after sounds like a good idea.

This what's interesting about certain things. Darby vs Brody match. It seemed like it was put together last week but of course we had the promo last night and Brody been attacking this motherfukker for a while now. :picard:

All that anger and emotion both have gonna see them trying to kill each other.
