Owens was handed the title and he didn't save Jericho when he had a chance. He's got to remain heel to oppose face Rollins. Jericho's done nothing but be a friend to him and the crowd loves him right now.

At this moment, they'd want to cheer Jericho over KO because KO still always delivers as a heel. They'd still cheer them both, but Jericho works better as the face to put Owens over.

I think it could go either way, like story line wise Jericho would be justified, but if they decided they wanted to keep Jericho heel he could make it work
