I don’t know why TK isn’t keeping Joe in the title picture. It would be a a nice storyline with Joe/Dragon for the title next year, which could grab some viewers if they feud for a bit. But nope, Dragon just gonna flounder around putting on good matches without much meaning until he’s done next year.

he should've come in with a new character and presentation instead of being the exact same and basically saying "I wanna wrestle the following people before I retire:_______"
between Bryan and Edge you don't want AEW seemingly like the retirement home where legends come at the end of their career for one last payday and to wrestle vanity matches.
You just reminded me of Dan Snyder giving big contracts to Jeff Garcia, Bruce Smith, Deion Sanders, & Marty Schottenheimer when they were all better suited for the Larry Holmes League.
I can't say I'm mad at old wrestlers taking Tony Khan's money, though. If he's giving it away, let them eat. I keep waiting for Tony Khan to bring in Kurt Angle & Hacksaw Jim Duggan for some dream matches.

Bryan is completely different because he's still arguably the best pro wrestler on the planet, he'll always be an asset to any wrestling promotion (now how much of an asset and what kind of asset that's a different story).
Edge can be a veteran hire like Sting is, but expecting him to make any difference in terms of any drawing metric is a head scratcher for sure. If dude wants to have a couple of programs that can hopefully end up elevating others (like Sting), sure, have at it. But don't put unrealistic expectations by saying his hiring is a new Era for the company, that's just promoting malpractice by TK.

Current WWE is wrestling for cats and autistic people. If you want giant lasers, lights, dull matches, dull characters covered in a bunch of flashes, there you go.
They occasionally have a good segment, but you can catch it in a 5 minute highlight vid.
