If I'm Tony I'm having a meeting with all my main stars and I'm telling them the schedule is gonna become a little rougher because they gonna have to start promoting these shows weeks in advance with people on the ground for when tickets go on sale
shyt like this is what they should be doing anyway. Worked for Grand Slam. Don't even have to go in person for this stuff either, they can remotely do interviews via Zoom or call in on the radio interviews.
Commercials can be made whenever.
Targeted social media advertising can be done by an office employee.
I don't even need fingers to be able to count up how many times I've seen a social media advertisement or a commercial specific to any one weekly AEW show or house show, and they did a house show like an hour from my house back in May. I never would have known about it if I didn't follow AEW on Twitter.
Sure, getting the product out of cold status will help more than anything, but when you're cold you have to pump up the marketing.
