What was the attendance last night 5000? So 11,000 over the two days instead of 11,000 over one day? @Jmare007

I guess it'll be profitable but still weird to do it that way....
Idk if it got to 5k but it was close to that the day before the show. And yes, the bolded is what I've been saying the past three days.

Hopefully, Danielson & Sabre don't do a bunch of callbacks to that match. It was fun the first few times, but AEW goes to the "somebody did this exact same sequence in 1993" well way too often.
Replaying the hits ruins the illusion of realism & makes it look like the current wrestlers/agents can't come up with anything original.

I'm just thinking they ran the same market twice for 11,000 fans when they could have run two markets for maybe 16.000?

But I'm not sure of any extra costs to travel that would be. Hey, maybe the arena gave TK a 2 for 1 deal on the rent :russ:

Arenas do typically give a discounted rate for renting it multiple days. Also, it's off peak season, they probably cut an even better deal than they would in peak season.

I said it elsewhere on here, I don't think they have all the crew, and possibly the equipment, to run two different markets on back-to-back days.

Up until Collision started, they never had any need to because they only taped one day a week, sometime two if they did Rampage live, and they had a day between to make it work. Same with the few days they ran house shows, those would always be Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. And of course house shows are far less complex of an operation than a TV taping.

They normally start setting up early AM the day of or the day before. If they start setting up for Collision at the crack of dawn on Saturday, then they got to tear it down after Collision ends, get straight to the road so everything can be there on Sunday for the PPV, then get up at the crack of dawn on Sunday to start setting up.

People got to sleep sometime.

Maybe once the new tv/streaming deal money kicks in, and once they start back up with house shows like JEff Jarrett said they will, they can hire a second crew. One crew does everything for Collision. Another crew does the stuff for the house shows and helps out on PPVs since AEW wouldn't be running house shows those weekends. Then the Collision crew can get there later on Sundays to help out if needed.
