well several torrent providers did get shut down, i think the public ledger system is why governments back it. you take that away i can see them getting antsy. but if they can say, "hey we are just providing tech, we arent' the ones doing anything illegal" then they probably will have some protection, but i'm assuming this is why most of them are built on public ledgers.

Logically I cannot fault you on that. I've just made a few observations that give me a glimmer of hope that this may actually come through. I am certainly going to at least wait and see.

Well the problem with keeping torrent trackers up was always lack of money but the blockchain is a money system I would be highly surprised if they can shut down a network that provides value without cutting off the entire internet. But I guess we'll see
