They missed the window on Wraith 3 or 4 times now, it's been promised multiple times, go into their historical data and you'll see it happened in November where the price, market cap and volume peaked then it dropped after Nov 6th.

Nope, there's nothing revolutionary or evolutionary about this coin, it's all hype based. Just go into their reddit and you'll see it's a lot of new people, some of which had no clue what Wraith is even supposed to do. I think it'll make people money, but people gotta know when to get out.

I'll sell the hype and get back into bread.

I don't think Justin is an idiot and by all accounts any programmer I've talked to online says he is a beast.

All open source projects alter existing code for the most part.

I don't think it's ALL hype. I do believe he is trying to build something good. Maybe he set too lofty of goals in too short of a time who knows.

Watch him and the PIVX guys chatting and see who comes out on top in the video.

Also there's plenty of plus sides to Verge. Fastest transaction times, most transactions per second, relatively low supply, and if it does block IP addresses properly (which there is no evidence it doesn't yet, just so and so in reddit comments saying "this is copied code! from not even a final build!" then I don't see why it wouldn't be a solid coin. XVG Whale fukk him, but I'm not basing what I think about the coin by how educated the community is on it. I'm going by what I see in it. Just because the Reddit page is full of shills does not mean the coin will fail.

Listen it could be trash, we got to wait and see I'm not sayin it all looks dandy, specially waiting til now to finalize. But most of the negative stuff lately has been based on fukkery that has nothing to do with what the coin does or promises to do, as well as some flat out lies and logical fallacies.

Fam, it's all hype, the coin was dead in the water before the McAfee tweet.

This isn't FUD, you have to remove your emotions from this and view it strictly from the outside looking in. Ask yourself this simple question, if not for the McAfee tweet that set the ball rolling what seperates this from other privacy coins and would anyone know what it is not for him? It has TOR bolted on, ok and what else? You have a Bitcoin Private coming soon, you have NAV, you have XMR etc etc all of which have kept a consistent workflow.

the question is does the market want private transactions? Governments wouldn't want that and tbh I'm not sure users want to not real trace of their transactions (as great as it sounds) unless its for illegal/illicit purposes. good thing verge gives you an option; however, Monero might have a better value proposition with the supply an dadaptive blocksize.

Request...finally :lawd:

Request isn't messing around.

I fully expect the team to meet the targets outlined in their roadmap.

They are backed by YCombinator. It will be a winner.

REQ will be a $20 token by end of 2018. Bookmark this post and neg me into oblivion if this doesn't come to fruition.

at the same token, are you in it for teh short run or long term. Short term verge could pop, if you're trying to invest in something long term to hold then it's a shot in a barrel which one is going to come out on top. My thought is that bitcoin private or any fork of bitcoin will have more mainstream appeal in any space.

I'm not saying the way they are pushing updates and handling this is the cleanest way of doing this, and not indicative of non-professional behavior. Trust me I know there is a good chance this all doesn't play out. I just don't think it's as 100% certain as you. It's entirely possible all coding and testing was done offline and tested amongst a few developers before being pushed. Hence him compiling the build and pulling it to fix spelling errors etc. like 6 times last night lol.

But that doesn't mean the final code will not work as advertised. Yea Nav looks like a real company and Verge looks like they've been doing nothing. Nav is probably a lot closer to a 'real' company than Verge. That's true, I'm just sayin that it's not 100% certain this doesn't work out. There remains a possibility it will work great and there's really only circumstantial evidence otherwise. I get it where there's smoke there's fire, and I don't trust XVG Whale as far as I can throw him. But I do like Sunerok.

Maybe not, the concept itself may not be equitable who knows.

Honestly it doesn't bother me either way cause I'm gonna cash out somewhere near the peak if negative press hits on it anyway and I've made a couple g's off verge already so Im good.

Just don't think it's this certainty it will be revealed to be a wash.
