ETH won’t stop

I remember a prediction tweet saying it’d hit $9000 and BTC $150k…this was back when ETH was just $300 last year

I’m curious to know when is the closest ETH has come to surpassing BTC as far as market cap…it’s kind of “close-ish”…BTC at just under $900 billion right now…ETH at a little over $400 billion

*edit*

probably around aug. 2017 looking at these two charts…dunno if they’ll show up correctly for y’all

I still don't understand why ETH gains all this traction still considering the better alternatives.

I neglect everything that is on their system based on gas fees.
Sol is faster and way cheaper, the same for BSC, you'll soon have cardano in there too.

ETH's network effect is why. It's got the first mover advantage as well. Casual people know what ETH is on a surface level, and that's big. I feel you tho, but that's why it's good to keep that in mind... the alternatives need some major momentum to contend with ETH, which takes time and results.

too many crypto projects are built on the ETH platform…it’s not going to be replaced anytime soon

I hate when ppl throw out made up statistics that start with “90% of…” but I’d honestly be surprised if 90% of the projects on CMC don’t use ERC-20 tokens
