Honestly, I NEVER planned on cashing out my IRA early, but I did a year or two ago to load up on more crypto, and so far, it's been the best decision I've made.

It wasn't a ton in my IRA (relatively speaking) at that time. I had done pretty well during 2017 through mid 2018, but then everything went down, especially my biggest investments. I kept holding and holding and holding and holding. I was (and still am) nervous throughout that time. I thought I was going to hit a gold mine back then, and then everything shyt the fukking bed and my plans had to change. It was February of 2020 when I withdrew from my IRA. Prices were "low" then, and I wanted to take another chance. I bought before the March crash, but still got more coins a lot lower than they are now.
But, I also don't have kids or many major responsibilities at this point in my life, so I could afford to be more aggressive than people in other situations.
