I don't think you understand how NFTs can change how copyrighting digital content works or why an artist would absolutely see value in controlling their royalty % every time their work is resold.

An NFT does not create a digital copyright nor can it ever guarantee an artist would maintain control over distribution of their work.
Anything digital can be copied and redistributed freely.

ETH 2.0 is a year away at the earliest
If these projects are smart they'll start making BSC versions asap. The process seems to be fairly simple. Not sure of the time frame but I've seen it done in like two weeks or so.
