I like Dion, tho.
Did you see him play this past season?I like Dion, tho.
We need him for the fukkery with Buckets and Brodie. Plus he's a bonafide person that can get their own shot.
he wasn't healthy. I want him here healthy.Did you see him play this past season?
Do y'all watch basketball or do y'all just skim through it?
I swear some of y'all are blind as fukk
Nah he was healthy he just slacked the fukk off and got fat as fukk. Dion is a piece of shyt that lets his unearned arrogance get to him. fukk himhe wasn't healthy. I want him here healthy.

if you look at all the 2 guards in the league and their salaries his contract isn't bad and he's youngDion is a good player. It's just that we overpaid him. And let's not talk about last season. He came in fresh off surgery and out of shape. I dont think that's the bar anyone has set for Waiters.
Does he have a history of coming into a season out of shape? I dont know But I usually give a player a year to get back to (somewhat) their old selves before i pass judgement.
But dont let the amount we paid him blind you from what he is. Dion is a poor man's Jamal Crawford. He's a decent starter or great backup SG in this league. Unfortunately we paid him starter money by outbidding ourselves. If you list all 30 starting SGs in the league i'm sure you'll probably find 7 to 10 you'd pick Dion over IF they were to make the same money. Too often we let the salary cause us to over-critical of a player. Which the salary needs to be taken into context when determining if you want a player. But not when you're comparing his skills to others.
Edit: And even the salary is not bad. That's just the going rate these days for players his age ad resume in the league. I'm cool with him making $11M a year. It's the amount of years we signed him to (4 years) that made this a bad deal.

The only period of time that Dion Waiters has been a good player was during a random, fluke winning streak.Dion is a good player.
Define good player in your own words. The only period of time that Dion Waiters has been a good player was during a random, fluke winning streak.
A good player is a player that produces positive minutes. Dion does not do that.Define good player in your own words.
