Y'all are really impressed by someone balling in the summer league?

The summer league?

We not talking about an actual game but the summer league?

:aicmon:
I'm not impressed. I just recognize that he has a good shot from deep. As you see in my post I mentioned watch for the reactions as he struggles out the gate come regular season.

Besides the racial prejudice in me doesn't believe white players are built to be NBA stars. This why I was never fully onboard with the Gordon Hayward thing . But it was worth a shot.

But yes Summer Leagues is time for draftees and UDFAs to shine because it's not like they are getting that kinda PT right off the bat in the regular season. Thus why Beasley and Winslow were frustrating for me to watch in SL because Beasley took it as a joke and Winslow was so passive at first

Nah Russ is at the end of his prime. I don’t need that contract. Paying him and jimmy butler for the next 3+ years ain’t something I’d be comfortable doing

We ain’t doing shyt anyway, might as well get the entertainment :mjlol:

I need to see Russ and Butler after Waiters bricks the last second shot :banderas:

Brehs are in here going off of hopes and dreams that Herro will become a great player. Just like Winslow and Bam right?

Winslow and Bam have hit their ceiling. They won't ever be top tier players EVER

fukk waiting around to see if mediocre players will ever amount to anything

Russ is a top 15 player. It’s really not even an argument for me. The Heat are trying to win now and won’t have to give up much to get Russ. The market is drying out.

The guy comes off knee surgery and has a bad shooting year. Now all of a sudden, he’s trash. Give me a break. All he’s done is carry that terrible coach and overrated collection of talent to multiple playoff appearances while literally leading them in every statistical category.

God forbid he comes to the East where he will immediately be a top 2 pg in the Conference and have significantly weaker competition on a nightly basis.

Justise Winslow averaged 12 points last year.

12 fukkING POINTS!!!!

WESTBROOK IS IMMEDIATELY BETTER
You probably need to calm down breh. I'm sure if all it took was Winslow, a young player, and filler to make the contracts match, we would have Westbrook right now. However our front office must covet what we have more than Westbrook and/or OKC is asking for too much. If neither were the case, the trade would have happened already.

Just like we didn't want to give up Richardson for Butler last time right?

Hopefully Riley and Spo watching these summer league games and realize they can't trade Herro. I'd be fine giving up one out of Bam or Justise for Russ but definitely not both.
