This is why i'm reluctant to pull the trigger on Westbrook. At 31 his bullish athletic style of play may not last until that contract is up. Jimmy's contract is already gonna be an albatross that will barely get us in the playoffs in this Eastern conference. I'm not sure him and Russel and a gutted team take us to the ECFs at this point.

Westbrook is athletically gifted. Players these days are playing harder for longer. He'll be ok.

Dont say that to Heat fans. You may get negged into oblivion for even saying Spo is the best coach within the division or even within his own coaching staff.
I have my reservation about Spo.
He gets a lot of undue criticism (mainly from Winslow and Whiteside stans these days) but he does deserve some of it. He's a good coach and I am fine with him as a coach but i do feel like we need a new voice at the position.
But it's always funny to me how as much as we Heat fans on the coli in general hate the guy, most GMs and other coaches around the NBA hold him in VERY high regards. Cant recall which team had offered Riley a 1st round pick for him but that was floating out there a few years ago.
