I didnt say he's a punk and cant goon up. By Dog in him I MEANT overall aggressive and willing to go after and take the big shot. I never questioned his physicality ever since he stepped up and was all up in D-Wade's face ready to brawl when Wade was with the Bulls and they were battling for position and got tangled up under the rim. THink that may have been the first time i saw him get vocal on the court.

You’re underrating Winslow. I can post numerous games of Winslow turning up in the 4th and getting timely buckets. Richardson is definitely more aggressive but he’s also to prone to dumb mistakes like dumb fouls or costly turnovers.

Winslow has dog in him but he just tends to play more composed which allows him to function much better as a playmaker. You also keep underselling Winslow’s passing like he wasn’t the best passer on the team outside of Wade.

Not just simple passes or hand offs but pocket passes, skid passes, drive and dish, oops with both hands, wrap passes around the baseline, etc. plus his ability to hit players in their spots.

Josh is more polished and confident scorer, a more aggressive defender, and a better shooter. He’s good when he gets to his spots but when you make him uncomfortable, he struggles so he’s easier to plan for. Winslow is just a more creative offensive player overall.

I have never questioned his defense nor his playmaking ability. I've just never cared for how passive he can be on offense at times. If you go back to his rookie season i expressed that same concern during summer leagues. If i remember correctly my exact quoote was "Winslow needs to understand he's the 10th pick of the draft. Summer leagues is YOUR time to shine. WTF is he doing being passive and deferring to these undrafted and D-league bound mofos?"

He's a smart player but almost too cerebral for his overall skill level at this point. I have said this many many times that RIGHT NOW i'll take Josh over Winslow but Winslow's ceiling has always been way higher than Josh's since he can do so many things well
