Let’s do it :manny:

Melo is worthless for this squad.
Yeah i think his presence would only further stunt Winslow's growth.

Melo likes the ball in his hands. Jimmy Butler likes the ball in his hands. Dragic too. + Winslow is more effective with the ball in his hands. Only one ball on the court at a time. I say forget Melo let the kid eat for another season. Hopefully he flourishes and we can decide to either trade him for Beal or keep him long term

Sometimes i feel he has the quickest path to become a star than Winslow or J-Rich.

I always felt Winslow has the highest ceiling of the 3 in terms of being a great overall player but he's the least athletic of the 3. Bam on the other hand can run and jump out the gym. If he brings back some of this handling and jumper we saw his first year dude could blow up. THe coaching staff has to make it a point to get him the ball more tho. Based on what he did last year i cant say i fully expect a huge leap but this is his 3rd year and it's time he shows us what we got in him.

But i really love his game and i see why the coaches were raving about him when we drafted him. Tho, in hindsight I understand why some of us in here (I wanna say @Primetime21 or @He Who Posts Well ) were mad we didnt get Jason Collins instead in that draft. Collins is solid.

All he need to do is work on that 3 ball, and we got a young Ibaka on our hands :blessed:
Nah.. i say focus on low-post and midrange first. I can totally see a Chris Bosh type midrange game from Bam. The 3 will come. In the meantime use the athleticism

But we resigned Haslem for another 2.6 million a year. :mjlol:Melo is better than half the players in the league. It's crazy how general managers don't view him as a valuable acquisition. :francis:
I didn't want Haslem back either:yeshrug:
I think Melo is being avoided because he's been a headcase everywhere he goes . News Flash: Coaches would rather not deal with headcases that are past their primes who still think they are the shyt.

Jimmy Butler is enough of a headcase while still at his peak. Last thing Spo or Riley wants is additional headache dealing with Melo who'll want x amount of shots and touches in an offense where he's trying to develop Winslow as a primary ball handler and Jimmy who'll be the focal point.

Melo was a headache in Denver. He gradually mature in NY and wasn't a difficult player to coach in OKC and Houston. The misconception of Melo as a problematic is what kept him out of the league. The media play huge part in tarnishing his reputation which may have influence GMs not to acquiring Melo.

Media plays a big part with fans but not as big a part with FOs.

I'd like to think GMs don't just listen to media and they actually have connections among other coaches and other league/team employees that could gauge a player.

Remember Hassan Whiteside was a headcase and the media didn't know anything about him. Yet coaches and GMs around the league avoided him like the plague.

And I don't buy that he wasn't difficult in OKC or Houston. Teams don't just give up on you midseason like that. Especially players as talented as Melo.
