I think IWC fans worry too much about booking instead of enjoying the show, yall will always be disapointed because no one can just enjoy the good matches. NJPW isnt just going to change the title just for the sake of shaking things up, they only want guys that can carry the title for a few years.

Wait so are you saying Omega not only isnt the best in the world but had a bad match? so you dont think he needs t go to wwe? Im saying I never thought he was the best in the world or did I think his matches with okada were 6 stars but I still think he is good enough to be a top guy in wwe, and this match was good, he wrestled a wwe style and pulled it off..Yeah, neither match was a MOTYC imo, even if I thought they were they wouldn't have held up (unless 2018 ends up being the WOAT year or something).
I still liked them though, Jericho vs Omega was very hit or miss but I really liked Jericho in it so I was interested throughout, very disappointed in Kenny to be honest, very lackluster performance and it kinda exposed him as a guy who can only have 1 type of match (well, two counting comedy).
Main event was pretty fun I thought watching live. The lack of selling in the first 3/4 prevented me from thinking it was great though. As much as I liked what they were going for, it never felt they were hurting each other until Okada hit the first Rainmaker. After that it was a dope final sequence as always. The ending is the most baffling thing I've ever seen in puro since I've started following it "live"

I don't believe he pulled anything off in the Jericho match. His comeback was a bunch of rapid fire spots that had little to no meaning and didn't bring the crowd alive. It was Jericho who was able to bring wake up the fans with his antics and reversals. Kenny did took a beating and bumped like a mad man, but that does not constitute a great performance in my book, specially when the climax on the match depends on the face getting sympathy and making a good comeback, both things I thought Omega would excel, and didn't' :manny.

That’s a fair point.
I thought the final sequence with the chair spot setup to the one wing angle was nice. I think he did good considering that was his first time really wrestling a wwe style.
