Tanahashi vs Jericho was something else. Dudes out there moving at half speed but trying to pack the fukkery in all the way from the video of Tanahashi wearing the makeup & singing :heh:

Couldn't even get the rights to a guys theme song when he is the guy that sings the theme song, Jericho out there looking like a melting candle hitting muscle poses, Tanahashi with a big goofy troll smile right into the camera, Jericho swaying backwards & forwards on the top rope trying to keep his balance while playing air guitar.

He finally hit the Stardust Press. The love/hate relationship with the fans has come full circle

A lot of things came full circle tonight.

It took me until recently to realize that he hated the IC belt because Nakamura v Tana's feud over it headlined WK 8 over his match with Okada :ohhh:

Today he has both titles and beat Okada to become the first double champ in the main event.:wow:

I'm really happy they finally got the 40k paid for Night 1. 30k paid for Night 2 is still really good but you gotta wonder if the biggest draw for the weekend was Ibushi challenging for the title instead of the double champion gimmick :patrice: the G-1 is different but when they book the big triple headers for the final 3 nights, the final one doesn't suffer in attendance even if night 2 has a bigger main event.

Anyway, saw the two main events.

Jericho vs Tana showed how charisma can carry a match for long stretches. It was really fun watching these two play off each other. After the Red Shoes bump it got into a little lull but they picked it up for the ending. Good match :ehh:

I could be forgetting one, but I thought Okada vs Naito was the best match they've had against each other since their 2012 Korakuen classic.

He finally got the big W :mjcry: :lawd:
