It's almost mandatory at this point that Okada's first 10 to 15 minutes of his matches are basically a segment that could've been 4 minutes. He drags a very basic point to death until it's time to start moving things along.
I think he's been the best "closer" of matches for the past 5 years at least, and it's pretty incredible how he continues to create incredible climatic and very long final sequences that have the fans going nuts. This Ibushi match was just another example of that. But he also got stuck in this overtly long formula were it's very, very hard to be engaged with it unless you are very into Okada, his opponent or the style (which the longer you watch, the older it gets).
