I felt like the worst fight of the night was the Simms bout. Hearing the score card was the only noteworthy thing in that whole fight. That fight was trash.

I enjoyed Farmer/Diaz, but then again I'm a Jojo fan.

As a whole that card deserved a much better venue. Hearn and his rent a spoon way of approaching some of these fights be having me like :gucci:

Who the fukk squeezes 3 world title fights into some 2 week built up arena that barely holds a thousand people. Unless you were floor level, you pretty much had to stand up and watch every fight because the venue was made more for a club/concert than for combat sports. Any time you had to use the restroom, you gotta walk across the arena, go downstairs an outside. nikkas warming up outside doing the mitts. shyt was a mess. :mjlol:
This should have been held at the Hard Rock in Hollywood or the Panthers stadium. I'm almost certain they lost money or sold less tickets than they could have.
Crap was a parking nightmare. I was fortunate enough to park under the overpass right across the street. The hoes were out, though.

Most of the fine hoes were the ones working. :mjlol:

Parking was terrible, I had got a ride so I was good, but I seen plenty of people stressing over that shyt. Mad boxers were out at that fight tho. Prolly the most I ever seen at a live event. They weren't even announcing nikkas like I normally see them do either.

yeah Matchroom doesn't do that. Usually the fighters announce themselves like when Andrade vs Kautondowka conor mcgregor came running out during the Tevin Farmer fight lol. The only fighter I've seen them do that for on a live card was for Sweet Pea (RIP). I guess i should be happy I've never had the issues you experienced with a Matchroom card lol

Andrade is more predictable than boring really.

If he had got a few more early or mid rd KO's or Willie Nelson type performances, nobody would say he's boring. But for the most part, every time you see him, he's looking great for the 1st 6 rds and then kinda fizzles his way to a decision where nothing else happens. Unless you're some A side star (Canelo) you can't get away with having the same exact performance in every fight.

I can see that point of view, however his last 10 fights 5 have been TKO, 5 have been UD or SD.

Meanwhile, Canelo is the same (5 TKO or KO and 5 SD or UD.)

Only difference is Canelo is the A team, everybody is ducking Andrade so he can’t become A team.

He needs a big name win though, needs to convert the non believers.

He can fight a range of different styles imo and takes far less punches than people realise.

Also has incredible stamina for someone who throws as many power jabs and straight lefts as he does.

I’m yet to see a boxer he fought in the amateurs or sparred with (Porter, Thurman, Plant etc) not be in awe of his skill and not mention how underrated he is.

lets talk about his defense. heres one for the compubox fans. statistically andrade takes fewer punches than any other boxer in the sport and is currently on a streak of 57 consecutive rounds holding opponents to fewer than 10 landed punches per round.

That stat is incredible. Goes to show how comfortable Andrade understands range and distance. Also goes to show how shook the middleweight fraternity is of his range and footwork.

I feel you, but Sometimes it not about the KO and more about how you got the KO. People said Wlad was boring and he knocked a lot of dudes out, but you had to watch him paw and poke with his jab for 8 or 9 rds first in a lot of bouts (especially post Sanders)

A few months back, Canelo made a statement about not fighting Andrade because he was boring and I pretty much said the same shyt you saying now in the OG thread. As a Mexican, Canelo has the least amount of entertaining fights ever, but he's allowed to call other nikkas boring. fukk outta here.

with that said, Andrade needs a major fight fast. I don't want him spoiling on the vine with all that talent. No need to pick up bad habits

Yeah that’s a valid point, I can respect that.

I saw the Canelo with interview also. He’s tripping if he thinks a fight with Jacobs is any more interesting than Andrade.
