Based on what footage?
i think i have watched that burley smith fight more times than any other fight and that is the only charley burley footage you will ever see. i have not read the harry otty book, but i can say that the allen rosenfeld book is a great read.

one thing i can tell you about guys like burley and andrade is you stay out of their way. when a guy wants to box with his hands down you let him box with his hands down and what you call sloppy he does by feel and he just may know more about his own body than you think you do.

one more thing i can tell you about burley and andrade is they were both called boring and that was used as an excuse to not have to fight them. someone said once history does not repeat but sometimes it rhymes. i dont know if andrade beats all these guys but i know calling him boring is a bad excuse. it was for burley.

by the way i thought two knockdowns, a stoppage, and holding the other guy to 34 landed punches without losing a round is alright for sloppy.

He was winging shots more than usual.but what REALLY MATTERED was how slippery he was on the inside...that's why this kid is so dangerous...period. The slick fast hand counters by Canelo wont work on Andrade..go have to try something utterly different.

Nah that nikka was just having a good ole fashion career mode glitch.

You rarely see a nikka actually start glitching and tweaking and shyt but it happens.

I heard Teddy Atlas suggesting that Andrade is a boring fighter in the lead up (in fact went on to say he'd prefer to paint his house than watch him.)

First punch knockdown, two knockdowns and an absolute bevy of clean, straight lefts is far from boring.

Why people suggest Andrade is boring ill never know? He's handed out more knockdowns in fights than he's had professional fights put together.

All these nikkas ducking Andrade, its just that Charlo and Canelo had a head start at 154. :mjlol:

If dude was so beatable and easy work, somebody would have taken that scalp already. :manny:

and to be honest, I think Andrade likes being this avoided ass nikka since thats the only thing that makes him semi marketable until he starts knocking out these bums earlier. Half the arena cleared out before his fight and even more left after the 6th rd. :hhh:
My friend and I left at 11:30pm. They forgot that it was a freaking Thursday!!!

lets talk about his defense. heres one for the compubox fans. statistically andrade takes fewer punches than any other boxer in the sport and is currently on a streak of 57 consecutive rounds holding opponents to fewer than 10 landed punches per round.

That Farmer/Diaz was garbage live.

I felt like the worst fight of the night was the Simms bout. Hearing the score card was the only noteworthy thing in that whole fight. That fight was trash.

I enjoyed Farmer/Diaz, but then again I'm a Jojo fan.

As a whole that card deserved a much better venue. Hearn and his rent a spoon way of approaching some of these fights be having me like :gucci:

Who the fukk squeezes 3 world title fights into some 2 week built up arena that barely holds a thousand people. Unless you were floor level, you pretty much had to stand up and watch every fight because the venue was made more for a club/concert than for combat sports. Any time you had to use the restroom, you gotta walk across the arena, go downstairs an outside. nikkas warming up outside doing the mitts. shyt was a mess. :mjlol:
This should have been held at the Hard Rock in Hollywood or the Panthers stadium. I'm almost certain they lost money or sold less tickets than they could have.

Andrade is more predictable than boring really.

If he had got a few more early or mid rd KO's or Willie Nelson type performances, nobody would say he's boring. But for the most part, every time you see him, he's looking great for the 1st 6 rds and then kinda fizzles his way to a decision where nothing else happens. Unless you're some A side star (Canelo) you can't get away with having the same exact performance in every fight.

I was on the floor. Gotta pic with Clarissa Shields. Snapped pics of Danny Garcia, Devin Haney, Bernard Hopkins was hard to catch, saw André Dirrell, Eddie Hearns walked by numerous of times. You’re right about that Simms match. He was just dancing the whole fight.
