I thought this style should've been brushed before the layoff. I didnt like it then. Ali was an exceptional talent, Mayweather did it sometimes but himself was never that good at it.

I thought he dominated this fight from a round by round perspective dont know what the judges were thinking.

Mayweather rarely fought like that at the lower divisions sans against Corrales and Castillo. Usually his speed and power was was overwhelming he was able to come forward and fight in the pocket. He wasnt running around the ring against Genaro, Augustus, Ndou, Gatti ect.

Thurman almost got stopped by a guy who hadnt stopped anyone not even the bums he was fighting in 4 years.


Thurman looked pale and skinny too.

After round 5, Thurman’s punch output and effectiveness noticeably decreased . First couple rounds he was sharp and on point. Any of the top Welterweights would give him hell and I want to see competitive fights as well as everyone else but I rather see a fighter at their best than not. If he were to fight Porter or Pac next there a good chance that 0 will be erased from what I saw tonight. Spence is probably grinning from ear to ear after watching this

Thurman looked sharp for about 4 rounds, then from there it went downhill.

The punch output, timing, and accuracy was way off. Definitely looked the part of a guy who took 22 months off. Didn't like the scorecards, but it is what it is.

Not sure where he goes from here. The top welters are definitely licking their chops after tonight.

I could see that Pacquiao fight happening now. Might not be the best decision for Thurman, but it's makeable

113-113 card was terrible, Lopez won 3 rounds, maybe 4 max. Considering the layoff Thurman looked better than I thought he would conditioning and technique wise. Lopez likely would have been out of there had Thurman got to him earlier in the 2nd. I believe Thurman beats Pac, he would counter him to death/ is not scared to let his hands go. Thurman against Spence and Crawford is a different story though.

Manny will get kod by thurman garcia. Crawfors either one he is slow as fukk now manny is a tune up fight for thurman and should his next fight

Lopez is big andand was probably on the juice and thurman gas tank ran out early

Manny couldnt hit broner barely he not hitting thurman and he will not be as aggressive because he will respect thurman power

Showed the heart of a champion barely surviving the deep waters he was in.

A shame that this will be used to shyt on him by online fans/Spence Stans. But I’d be lying to say I wasn’t disappointed with his performance after the 4th round. to Lopez ( who may been on the juice)was relentless and how he just kept coming forward up until about the 10th was impressive. Really good fight In all.
