Takeshyta seems like a good kid :obama:

He has a lot of potential to be a star for AEW (as much an AEW wrestler can be a star)

I thought his chops were fine (though compared to Danielson’s most chops are weak) but listening to advice is a good attitude to have

Going to be crazy when Mark hits that Jay Driller to win and then TK throws up that All Elite graphic

Fam, I had no idea BJ was working in AEW. Lmao

I hated this dude in ROH back in the day. BJ, Jimmy Rave, Brent Albright, Tank Toland and Erick Stevens. I hated everything about these nikkas. Couldn’t stand when they were booked

I remember BJ nearly killing Jimmy Jacobs on a botched corner powerbomb

Edit:

Edit:

I've read he's been producer on a lot of their best matches.

I’m not surprised honestly. He was always solid in that ring. All the guys I mentioned were except Tank. He sucked.

BJ just had negative charisma lol.. and he was ROH’s Miz/ziggler at the time in that anytime someone was coming into the company, he was always the go to matchup. Whenever someone was between feuds, being brought in or just needed to look strong… have Whitmer job to them in the middle of the card!

And it was never anything spectacular, but it got the job done lol. Shout out to him tho, he a legend

Been so long since I've seen a Whitmer match I can't really remember shyt about him in-ring skills. I'm just going to assume from your post that means he was good at making others look good.

1000%

He was perfect for the role. The result was always obvious but he was gonna make you look good in the process. He wasn’t a jobber like an early Delirious or Pelle Primeau, but he was def not winning anything significant
