"The Club aren't getting booked like they deserve! STOP BURYING FINN!"

*gives them the clear on-screen c/s from the kliq in a torch passing segment*

"HOW COULD YOU BURY THE REVIVAL!"

:russell:

The lead-in promo was lame as hell (and the show trash overall), but the complaining about this supposed burial is even worse. The old guys got their moves in, but it started with The Club and finished with Finn. It was clearly about putting Balor Club over once they got into it.

The Revival will survive. If they don't, it's not because they had to be a part of another group on the active roster getting a (in the WWE's eyes, accurate or not) big rub one time at their expense.

It's not rocket science. They got beat in 1 minute by the two bald guys that have done NOTHING in their 2 years on the roster. And then got destroyed by the old fat guys afterwards. :mjlol:

This is supposed to be the young, tough, up and coming team but they're being booked like clowns. What heat do they get from this at all? What does this even lead to? They just lost clean in a minute :deadmanny:

They book the past stars as being superior to the current guys in every way. Why not have the revival interrupt DX, beat them down, then have the club come in to rescue them. Then they team up and do their moves on the revival and end with the 2 sweet cosign.

You get heat on the revival, get sympathy for the old guys who can't compete with current stars, get the Babyface spot for the club, then the nostalgia pop for the old moves. They're still babyfaces when they all team up on the revival because the revival came out to interrupt and beat up old men. But that would require hhh looking weak :sas1:

The whole show was horrible with a matches and things just happening for no reason. Like when Vince was leaving the ring and Austin's music stopping for no reason:mjlol:

If talking smack was still around Bryan's jokes about this show would be too good :wow:

it's insane how awful the product is, it's not a good sign and tonight probably alot of ppl like you and I tuned in to see if anything changed in 3/4 years
Exactly.

They had a layup to capitalize on nostalgia, highlight their current talent, and create hype for the Royal Rumble...

...but people tuned in and found an even more sanitized and stifled product.

Great job, Vince.

You're right, it's not rocket science.

I hate Triple H and his shyt and don't have that much use for the rest of them, but the bytchin about this is peak never satisfied smark stereotype.

They actually put over guys that these cats have been complaining about not being put over for ages (the meltdown when Finn lost to Kane :picard:) and now it's straight crying because it was at the expense of someone else -- well, too bad, that's fukking wrestling. Guys go over, they get rubs, while other guys lose and don't. Not everything has to have all sides coming out good else it be deemed an irreparable burial.

You can certainly argue WWE is delusional about the kliq's status and Balor Club is undeserving trash, but the purpose of what went on once they got through that god awful intro promo was pretty paint by numbers and fine for what it was, if it had to happen. The Revival hasn't been ruined forever because someone else got presumably elevated at their expense tonight -- hell, I'm sure next week they'll probably have them and The Club start flipping wins back and forth now because that's how idiotic this company is.

With each passing year, I'm more and more convinced that Vince needs competition.....like really needs it, the way carnivores need meat to survive.

You can tell, that's what drives him. Without, we get this neutered, watered down shyt for the past 16 years. WCW dying was the WORST thing to happen to the industry.
