Real talk, as a dad now, I can't knock Jericho.

Them kids are independent, they got a mom, I'm sure they know he loves them.

He is working with multiple companies, has a rock band, podcast, cruise later this year...dude is MAKING BANK right now. The best part? He's delivering on the entertainment, too.

I try to be efficient as a father - get a lot done at a good pace, but don't forget to stop and appreciate the moments worth living for - and I'm getting older...

...so I'm of the perspective that, if I can be half the father Jericho is when I'm his age, I'll have done a damn fine job.

Despite WWE announcing Chris Jericho as appearing on the Raw 25th Anniversary show, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the two sides actually don't even have any sort of agreement for Jericho to appear.

-- In other words, WWE prematurely announced him appearing due to the expectation all along that he would be appearing. According to Meltzer, despite there not being anything in writing, something can always be worked out because everyone, including New Japan, expected Jericho to be a part of this show.

-- Meltzer added that Jericho remains not contracted to any company - either NJPW or WWE - and can pretty much appear wherever he wants.
:whew:
Bret Hart and Mick Foley were both originally featured in local advertising for the Raw 25th Anniversary show next week, but there has been no mention of either man since. Foley had indicated that he was invited and he lives in the area, so some sort of appearance seems likely. There has been no news on Hart though.

-- CM Punk continues to be engaged in a legal battle with WWE and with the case still before the court until at least May, it is very unlikely that Punk and WWE would be willing to do business together.

-- Former WWE and Impact talent has expressed interest in appearing at Raw 25 and this is currently a major rumor backstage he may be resigning with the company

-- There has been no word on whether Hulk Hogan would be appearing on the anniversary show, but Hogan tweeted today that he "will be home watching and cheering on my friends next Monday on Raw brother." Eric Bischoff, who is very close with Hogan, is announced for the show while Jimmy Hart, who travels with Hogan, has not.

-- Jeff Hardy is expected to be in New York City for the event, though is not healthy to wrestle.

-- Edge will not be at the anniversary show as he is reportedly out of the country. There is no news on whether his long time partner Christian will be appearing.

-- The Rock, if he is to appear, would likely be a last second surprise appearance. Due to his busy schedule, if he does indeed appear, it could be via a taped or satellite segment.
edge won't be there, guys :mjcry:
