Ruby is not a star. She's a good middle carder to help put over the real stars.

No dialogue needed. She sucks lol. Honkeys tried to blame Jade for their terrible match couple weeks ago like Ruby some top flight wrestler but real nikkas saw thru that.

I've come around to the notion that she's a good tag wrestler and that is about her ceiling.

The problem with Ruby's match with Jade (and, to an extent, Rosa's match with her as well) is that Ruby tried to lead her by the hand when she herself isn't good enough to do that. If she couldn't have a good match with a much more experienced yet still bad worker like Penelope Ford (to be fair, it only fell apart when Ford gassed), why would she have better results with a worse, stiffer, and less experienced worker like Jade? You have to actually be a good and creative worker to make that happen, and Ruby, at the very least, certainly isn't a creative worker.

Jade and Anna basically completely idiot proofed the match and probably practiced it repeatedly before putting it on here. They (or whoever put it together for them) had a good read on what they can and can't do and worked toward it, with the result being a dull and kind of empty match. However, it didn't suck or make it's practiced nature completely obvious, and I'll take that when the workers probably have fewer than 150 matches (maybe even 100) combined.

As for Ruby herself, her issue seems to be that she's tiny and doesn't realize it. If she were 5'6" or so, the way she works would make complete sense, but because she's small, certain things that could look good or have impact don't, like her rope running or her selling (which has nothing to it except making Ruby look really, really weak. Can't just sell like a beaten dog when you're tiny, you have to show more fire than that) or her finish. And it's not like her finish is even her best or most impressive looking move, that would be the head scissors driver she used against Statlander in the tournament. But she's used that once and kept the No Future, which has almost never not felt like an anticlimactic way to end a match. There's a good wrestler in there somewhere, but Ruby really needs to retool her game to find said wrestler.

Best ep of Rampage in a long time, for me

Every match was on point and Jade and Anna were really good in the main event :obama:

Hook with the :aicmon:on QT might have been the moment of the night though.:pachaha:

Low key QT has been a good jobber annoying enough that you wanna see him get his wig spit :obama:

Him and yung bucksu go home have changed my opinion on them since the start of aew.

Good show.

Hook should be TNT Champion by Double or Nothing.

I'm not 100% that Mox and Bryan are feuding. Could be an alliance but it does make sense that Bryan would want to run the match that never happened.

I've always wondered how high Nick Jackson's wild self could go as a singles guy, dude is just good...period.

Jade had her best match with another up and comer. Sometimes you just need to go out and do shyt instead of trying to plan out everything with better workers.
I think people overanalyze women's wrestling too much. At the end of the day it's unrealistically pretty chicks in makeup and done up hair fighting each other. In a real fight a chick would get her makeup smeared and their long ass hair pulled out:pachaha:

If you get a good or great match out of it awesome, if not, it is what it is.

I’m honestly shocked at the response y’all have on Jade/Jay. Match was, at best, average and there was at least 3-4 miscues. :mindblown:

I even ran it back after reading the comments on here because I was legit :dwillhuh:

Some internet fans seem to rate women's matches on a sliding scale, for some reason. Even saying that the Jade/Anna match was average or boring is a major compliment to them, in my opinion, no need to gas it up any more than that.

Then again, maybe they actually liked it more than people like us. Different standards and all. :manny:
