A guy who was competitive with Floyd, Cotto ko'd Spinks, beat Matthysse and was a physical marvel shyts on Broner.

Not even close.

First 3-4 rounds Floyd had no idea what to do with Zab’s hand speed. He was legit like .

He figured it out and whipped Zab’s ass, cause he’s Floyd. But yeah. Comparing Broner’s bum ass to Zab is ridiculous. Zab was in some good fights. He won some good fights. Broner just got smoked by a 40 year old who relies on speed and reflexes to be effective.

Pacquaio beating Broner is great for boxing and for the WW division. Pacquaio has said he's open to fight Spence and/or Garcia. I think he fights the winner of that fight this coming fall. I'm not convinced a mayweather rematch happens. So many great matchups with pacquaio in the mix: Porter, Mikey, Spence, Thurman (really wanna see that fight), Crawford, Danny, etc.

what surprised me was his jab. i dont seem to remember pacquiao working behind a consistent jab before do you? its funny sometimes old fighters develop into more complete boxers the older they get. duran was that way. i saw a lot of the top pbc welterweight guys picked broner to win. its funny a lot of the welterweights those guys have been feasting on for years pacquiao would have destroyed also. i wonder how much better are they really. he is still a dangerous fighter. maybe more dangerous than they want to admit.

Margarito was a catchweight, then he fought Rios lmao, marquez, bradley, algeri, and Jessie Vargas lmao, and Floyd who is another small welterweight I mean come on man, Manny would get KO'd by Danny Garcia let alone any of the other guys

Pacquiao even if you felt he won against Jeff Horn, he still struggled, lost a lot of rounds, he don't need to fight any of top welterweights they will fukk him up, Broner has zero status at 147
he not discipline enough to make 135, thats the only division he can look good at it, that's why I laugh at people who think mikey got a chance against spence, he gonna get fukked up,

I didn't watch the fight. I do know though that Manny has become more of a counterpuncher in his latter years. I've never seen him use a consistent jab. Maybe Buboy is the better trainer for him?

people thought the same things about duran after no mas, and after he lost to benitez, and again after he lost to kirkland laing. then he knocked out pipino cuevas. after he knocked out cuevas, duran said he was not the same old duran he used to be, but he was still better than these new champions. he was talking about davey moore. and when they fought moore was a 5-2 favorite. duran knocked him out in 8 rounds. destruction.

sometimes the greats can do things like that. duran was a great. so is pacquiao.

i think pacquiao beats porter and danny garcia. i think the toughest fights stylistically are crawford and mikey garcia, and, i think thurman and spence are dangerous, but just as vulnerable.

you want to know why everybody tries to box pacquiao so cautiously? why mosely ran, why clottey just covered up? cause when you get into wild exchanges with pacquiao is when catches you with wild shyt. anybody that does that with pacquiao is rolling the dice.

AB reminds me a lot of Derrick Gainer. Gainer too tried to fight like his idol/mentor RJJ. Thing is, on offense Broner cannot emulate Floyd at all. Both Gainer and Broner liked to play defense and pot shot but neither had the otherworldly speed or power to be successful against top opposition doing that. Very low activity fighters tht rely on hurting their opponents, which if they couldnt succeed in doing that, it was pretty much a wrap for them.

Broner strictly did become rich off of pure athletic ability. Cant compare him to Zab because Zab was aggressive offensive fighter and was faster and more powerful than Broner plus was a much better body puncher.

AB couldve been better if he were trained by Mayweather or Shields, etc...at 29 dont think he can change now, nor does he want to probably. Seems content with making a few mill as long as he can as opposed to making himself into an 8 figure fighter. Its a tough sport, if he is good with his money, I wont hate on him for that. I just dont think he should continue fighting for a long time, we saw what happened to Adonis. invest wisely and get the fukk out.
