Which is sad because his "personality" is based on fukkery and I hate how black AMERICAN boxers seem to have to have that type of persona, especially in a sport like boxing, to become popular among casual sports and boxing fans.
Connor has the same personality and he's by far the most popular MMA fighter. It is what it is.

In niche sports you need a special type of personality to stick out unless you're a absolute force of nature.

Broner should've never went to welterweight his power at 130 didn't translate to 147.

he got rich by moving up. staying at lower weights wouldnt have brought him the money and he was bound to get beat down there anyway.

Nah he was a good fighter, with room to be elite
The maidana fight just ruined him
He never felt power like that in his life
Hasnt thrown punches ever since

he was more potential than performance. wrong fighting style. did have a physical advantage at lower weights which made him look better than what he was. good defense but fights like he is still in the amateurs while on offense.

Gatekeeper status from now on....if he's unstable ass doesnt off himself

I dont even think hes a gatekeeper
I see him retiring in his next fight or 2
I hope he saved his money

C’mon w this shyt man... I never liked when ppl trying to discredit Maidana for that first fight.
No, Floyd didn’t play w him, Floyd got his ass roughed up in that fight especially the first half, got pushed into the corner, headbutted, kneed, tagged by awkward ass looping shots and got cut by a madman who was 10something pounds heavier than him fight night, that’s what happened not some Floyd master plan. He won but barely, 115-113 on my card and not even a draw would have been out of touch with reality.
Give credit where it’s due

:comeon: i agree with it being a physical fight, but Floyd took his rounds in both fights as usual. He had to fight harder in the 1st run, which i believe he chose to do as much as he stayed on the ropes, then it again it could have been age dictating that night:manny:. Either way Floyd took his rounds.

I just rewatched it a few days ago and yeah had it close, 115-113, I stand by that score

Mayweather almost woke up too late
but just almost

he did make the necessary adjustments later by getting on his bike a little more and targeting the body more, these paid dividend for him at the end cause in the first few rounds he really didn't look like he would be in control of what's happening, Maidana was manhandling him on the ropes, no way that Floyd the embodiment of "hit and not get hit" philosophy and "health first" was willingly let Maidana to maul him.
I've seen fights where a boxer played with his opponent and Mayweather vs Maidana wasn't among them.

Brolic... Alcoholics
So we reached the point when nobody gonna believe the "new beginning" "he's taking it seriously this time" "he still got it" shyt or next time he can pull it off again?

Oh yeah... All of that is in the bushes. He done ran outta chances.

More importantly, excellent job by Manny going to the body the way he did.
