They finna have him destroy her, and give her a hope spot leading to the win... making her somehow able to absorb all this damage to power to victory... man, this shyt heavyhanded as fukk. Commentary, the match structure, Callahan's villainy and excessive heeling, all this built to go out of its way to make her seem like a hero... gotta rehab that image by any means necessary, eh? :sas2:

Can do all this work to try and rebuild her, but can't put half that effort in to not putting your world title on a racist, huh?:sas1:

Does it mean anything to be the first world champion as a woman when you win it in Impact and from Sami Callahan?
Seems like a hollow accolade.
Like Callahan wasn't a wash-out from NXT who is built like a used car salesman from Witchita whose spent the last 3 years in recovery and just got his 30 day chip a week ago... Only way dude would end up in 'history books' would be losing this match and turning the belt over to a woman who... ya know. Got her own problems.

No one wins. No one comes out better as a result. Especially not me because I'm watching this trash.
In all fairness, the intrigue is definitely a draw. The two Impact events I've watched in years are because I've heard that she could possibly get the strap. It made me go, "Really? The girl from NXT? Well, how good has she become to get THAT over?" :jbhmm:

Controversy aside, I still want to see how they go about booking such a thing. It can ONLY be dramatic as shyt.
